A Long-tailed Shrike — the first in a while. A large and beautiful bird.

When it spotted prey, it would drop down onto the paddy bund. I could not make out the prey itself.

When the Long-tailed Shrike flew, the wagtails and pipits scrambled to flee. They don't react that way to Bull-headed Shrike, but they seem genuinely frightened of the Long-tailed Shrike.
