暗色型サシバ、チョウセンチョウゲンボウ、カンムリワシ幼鳥(動画あり)

5年連続で石垣島で越冬しているブラックサシバが見やすくなってきました。隣接する縄張りの別個体のサシバに対峙していますので、目立つところに出てくるのかもしれません。

今季はチョウセンチョウゲンボウが多く、3羽が確認されています。大陸の個体は鷹揚なのかどれも警戒心がありません。

久しぶりにミヤマガラス飛来

以前は、冬になるとある程度の群れで飛来していたミヤマガラスがここ数年は確認できずにいましたが、今季は3羽がやってきました。時折、オサハシブトガラスの群れと合流していました。

ソリハシセイタカシギ2羽、クロヅル、ヘラサギほか

ソリハシセイタカシギが2羽飛来。島内をうろついている個体かもしれません。ほかでは4羽のソリハシセイタカシギも確認されています。

クロヅルも越冬モード。最初は警戒心つよつよでしたが、今はまったくありません。^^

ヘラサギも滞在中。こちらもフレンドリーな個体。シギたちも越冬組が確認できます。

アカツクシガモ3羽、ヘラサギ(動画あり)

アカツクシガモは島内に3羽いた個体が合流しました。ほかにも2羽飛来しており、石垣島の中にアカツクシガモが5羽いることになります。過去最多の飛来です。

アカツクシガモを見ているとヘラサギが降りてきました。先月から島内を移動している個体と思われます。

見つけて、あっという間に稲の中に消えたオオヨシゴイを出待ちしているとリュウキュウヨシゴイが隣の田んぼから歩いてきました。しばらくして、こちらも稲に入ったと思ったらオオヨシゴイを追い出して飛ばしてしまいました…。

少し離れた休耕田に降りましたが、草丈が高く見えず。次の予定が迫っていたので友人らにあとは任せました。農家が作業をしだしたらオオヨシゴイとサンカノゴイが飛び出したそうです!! いろいろ潜んでいて、探鳥が楽しい石垣島です。^^
