GUIDED BIRDWATCHING TOUR
We'll drive you around Ishigaki Island to wherever the birds are showing best that day. Observation is mostly from inside the vehicle, and we keep it to a maximum of 3 guests so everyone can take their time.

天気もよく楽しい一日でしたー。
夜は、すけあくろでライブを見てきました。素晴らしい演奏と歌声でしたよ。野鳥好きのひともそうでないひとも是非一度聞いてみてください!!

今日は、遅めの探鳥でしたが7羽ほど見つかりました。^^
A juvenile Crested Serpent Eagle. Afterwards it was being chased around by an adult.

I've been seeing Crested Serpent Eagles in pairs more often. It's breeding season.

There were around 300 Ideopsis similis present.
キビ畑から飛び出してきた大きなクマネズミを捕まえました!!
It caught what was probably the largest rat I've ever seen. When the female tried to steal it, the bird carried it off into the bushes!! The rat was still alive and struggling desperately to escape.
This one is a different individual. A miss. ^^;
今日はサシバだけ。牧草刈りやキビ刈りやってるのに、カンムリワシはいない。
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th primaries are missing.
A Grey-faced Buzzard on the perch reserved for Crested Serpent Eagles. If the owner notices, it's going to get a smacking. ^^;
