サンコウチョウ、リュウキュウコノハズク、アオバズク、リュウキュウサンショウクイ
あまり行かない雑木林を久しぶりに訪れるとリュウキュウサンコウチョウのペアがうろうろしていました。同じ枝に並ぶこともあり、ペアリングが済んでいる模様。おそらく繁殖すると思うので推移を見守りたいと思います。
リュウキュウコノハズクは複数個所で抱卵していますが、まだまだヒナは小さいようです。一方、リュウキュウコノハズクで早期に繁殖に入ったペアはヒナがすでに大きくなっているようで、メスも巣外に出ています。間もなく巣立ちすると思われます。
リュウキュウサンショウクイの巣だった幼鳥がわが家に訪れました。メジロやシジュウカラと虫を取っているようでした。

Photographed a juvenile Ryukyu Minivet from my front entrance. I never found the nest, but they breed somewhere in the neighbourhood every year.
