レンカク、アカショウビン(動画あり)
6月恒例のレンカクが登場。沖縄本島にも同時に入っていますが、両個体とも若い個体のようです。今後、成鳥の夏羽に飛来にも期待です。
自宅リビングから見えるリュウキュウアカショウビンを久しぶりに撮影。鳴き声が特徴的で個体識別が可能。3年連続でやってきています。カラスが近づくと追いかけまわしているので、近くに巣があるようです。
自宅から半径数十メートルの徒歩圏内では、アカショウビンが3ペアほどやってきています。1ペアの巣は先日の大雨で崩壊。まだ時期が早いので、どこかで作り直すと思われます。
A Ruddy Kingfisher that has taken a liking to the top of a plastic greenhouse. This is the Ruddy Kingfisher I can see from my living room. ^^
Pheasant-tailed Jacana, adult. Partially into summer plumage.
At first it was perched somewhere this hard to see, but after a while it moved to a paddled-out rice field.
