メスが甘え鳴きをして餌をねだっているようでした。^^

このオスの近くにセッカの巣がありました。まだ、メスは入っていないようでした。

It was singing to attract a female. ^^

同じ公園内に2羽のカンムリワシがいました。^^

A family with children was playing nearby, but it paid them no mind.

雷が鳴ったり、晴れ間が見えたり変な天気でしたが、カンムリワシは元気にハンティング!!

Even as a juvenile, what a great-looking bird. ^^

なかなか狩りの上手な幼鳥でした。成鳥は、帰り道の林道で。^^

When it spots prey, it looks fiercer than ever. ^^

餌の捕りやすそうな環境でした。^^

For some reason it came right overhead.

春は、ヤツガシラに会わんとね。^^

The crest is what Eurasian Hoopoes are all about, right? ^^

最初に現れたときは足が震えました。

一生懸命保護されているのですが、生息環境が消失しているので個体数がなかなか増えないそうです。

It's huge. Being an owl, it showed up without a sound despite its size.

オオワシよりオジロワシのが好みです。地味で…。^^;

知床羅臼の流氷と共に渡ってくるオオワシ。初めて見たけど、でかいねー。^^

Barely moves at all, but it's an owl through and through — I like that. ^^

牧場とか草原にいることがおおいサシバですが、今日は林の中で見つけましたー。^^

It didn't seem to fear people and let me shoot up close. ^^

多分初観察のカンムリワシ成鳥と幼鳥。^^

主にバッタを捕まえていました。^^

Caught a Migratory Locust!!

両方とも初撮影個体とおもう。

It was deep in the undergrowth.

昨年末、保護されたちゅら。

右足に赤Dの脚環があります。

Looked healthy. It caught a small crab. ^^

虫が多いのか、このチョウゲンボウのオスが狩り上手なのか。^^

短時間で5回ほど獲物を捕まえていましたー。
