マガン、コハクチョウ到着、ソリハシセイタカシギ増加
マガンが数日前から滞在中なのですが、なぜかガイドがハイイロガンとしているそうです。どうみてもマガンの幼鳥なんですがねぇ…。^^; コハクチョウも幼鳥が単独で飛来。西表島にはコハクチョウ2羽とソデグロヅルも逗留中です。
ソリハシセイタカシギは島内に複数が飛来。この日は4羽の群れと単独が2カ所の合わせて6羽を確認しました。田んぼではタゲリ、ムナグロ、シロチドリ、コチドリ、アオアシシギ、アカアシシギ、タカブシギ、ハマシギ、イソシギ、クサシギ、セイタカシギなどが越冬中です。
今季、ハクセキレイはタイワンハクセキレイ、ホオジロハクセキレイは確認していましたが、亜種ハクセキレイを見ることができました。例年、そんな感じです。

On Ishigaki Island at this time of year, Kentish Plovers turn up in the rice paddies regularly too.
