リュウキュウコノハズク、アカショウビン、カンムリワシ(動画あり)
リュウキュウコノハズクは5カ所目で抱卵開始を確認しました。近所のリュウキュウアカショウビンは最近、メス個体の姿を見ないので、こちらも抱卵中かもしれません。
カンムリワシの保護個体のみっちゃんは、この辺りを縄張りにするオスにやられっぱなし ですが、こりずにやってきて餌探ししています。この夏、しっかり栄養を付けて冬を乗り切り、立派な成鳥へなることを期待します。
リュウキュウガモは引き続き、滞在中です。通行車両やカラスなどに対しての反応が落ち着いてきて、一日の行動パターンも安定してきたので長期滞在しそうです。越夏したら多くの鳥屋の目を楽しませてくれそうです。

A Ruddy Kingfisher in the neighbourhood. It made an aerial catch of a moth that passed right in front of it, but then spat it out and discarded it.
"Mitchan," a rescued female Crested Serpent Eagle, swallowing a Swamp Eel. It has become one of her favourite feeding spots, but fights with the resident territorial individual are a constant occurrence here.
A Common Buzzard passing over my house. It looks like it had just caught prey — the throat is visibly bulging.
