キリアイ成鳥現る
台風後、期待して田んぼを探してみるといました。キリアイの成鳥!! 秋の渡りではキリアイは幼鳥が多いので嬉しい出会いでした。^^ 厳密には翼を広げないと第1回夏羽から第2回冬羽へ換羽中なのか完全な成鳥羽なのかは分かりませんが…。
しかし、遠かった。70メートル先の17センチ前後の小さな鳥なので全て超トリミング。次は近くで撮りたいですね。
今季初のウズラシギを確認と昨日のオグロシギが2羽に増えていました。台風の影響で昨日、大量に田んぼに入ったシギ、チドリはずいぶん数が減っていました。そんなに焦ることはないとにと思ってしまいますが、さっさと島を後にして行ったようです。

The Broad-billed Sandpiper was at the far end of the paddy field, about 70 metres away. Heavy cropping applied.
It seems that many juvenile Broad-billed Sandpipers are being recorded on the mainland too, so here's hoping for more there as well.
Black-tailed Godwit, adult. Moulting from breeding to non-breeding plumage.
Yesterday's individual. This one has already changed into non-breeding plumage.
First Sharp-tailed Sandpiper of the season. Late breeding plumage.
A Terek Sandpiper that is usually found on sandy beaches or tidal flats was in the rice fields. Feels a bit out of place.
Little Stint in non-breeding plumage. There were about 4 today.
Common Greenshank, mostly in non-breeding plumage.
