抱卵中のエリグロアジサシなど
エリグロアジサシとベニアジサシの二つのコロニーから離れている岩礁で単独で繁殖しているペア。
今年は、1951年の観測開始以来、史上初めて台風発生のない7月となっており、石垣島、八重山にももちろん台風は全く来ていません。台風被害がないことから、アジサシのコロニーはどこも順調でメインの二つの岩礁は満員御礼状態です。仕方なくこんな小さな頼りないところで抱卵していると思われます。
岸から近く、単独での子育てなのでカラスの被害が心配です。
