キガシラセキレイ、コホオアカなど
年末の追い込みで鳥を見に行く時間がない!! 横目で鳥を見ながら石垣島や与那国島を走り回り回っています。
そん中、移動中に撮影した鳥たちを数種。キガシラセキレイ2羽とコホオアカは数十羽の群れ、ツグミ、ノビタキたち。
タカサゴモズやカンムリワシ幼鳥なども出ていますが、時間がなくて見にいけない…。^^;

Two Citrine Wagtails were mixed in with a flock of Eastern Yellow Wagtails.
Little Bunting photographed on a work trip to Yonaguni Island. Dozens are wintering in the rice fields at Hikawa.
Stonechats are also wintering on Yonaguni Island. The white supercilium gave me a momentary scare, but it's a young Stonechat.

石垣島の部分日蝕。厚い雲が立ち込めていましたが、蝕の最大の時間帯には雲の隙間から一瞬だけ太陽が顔をのぞかせてくれました。

タカサゴモズとシマアカモズ
新年号の取材など忙してくて鳥見に行く暇もなかったのですが、ちょうど時間が開いたところに師匠からメッセージ。「タカサゴモズいるよ」と。たまたま部分日蝕の取材で近くにいたので急行するもタカサゴモズはお留守。次の取材もあったので後ろ髪を引かれながら現場を後にしましたが、取材を済ませて戻るとタカサゴモズいました。
獲物のバッタなどを捕まえるシーンも見ることができました。^^
石垣島では、タカサゴモズやブラックサシバ、アオシギ、カンムリワシの幼鳥などコンスタントに見えています。見たい方は石垣島ナンバーワン野鳥ガイドのスポッターさんへどうぞ。
