救助から3日目のアカショウビンのヒナ
8月6日に落ちているのを見つけて元の巣へ戻したアカショウビンのヒナ3羽 は、 昨日、再び巣から1羽が落ちていて 、迷いながらもそのままにしてきました。やはり、その後が気になるのできょうも確認してきた。
落ちてそのままにしたヒナは、ほとんど同じ場所にいたが、親から餌をもらっているようで元気にしていた。羽を覆っている鞘も割れてきて、アカショウビンらしい赤い羽が見えるようになってきました。^^
昨日は、巣内にいた2羽のヒナも落ちたようでしたが、鳴き声はすれど、姿を探すことはできませんでした。しかし、親鳥は頻繁にやってくるので藪の中で餌はもらえているようです。
The chick that has been outside since yesterday now has its feather sheaths split open and is starting to look like a proper Ruddy Kingfisher. ^^
There was a squall a little while ago, but it seems to be getting through safely on the slope.

It's such a dark spot with dense trees that I can't get the shots I'd like.
This Ruddy Kingfisher would fly off whenever someone walked past, but after a while it would come back, perch on the same branch, and watch over the chicks.
After a while the rain stopped.
Next year, please find a nest tree that's a little harder to break apart. ^^;
