春の渡りオオチドリ
3月中旬からオオチドリが来そうなポイントを回っていたのですが、今日は5羽のオオチドリが沖縄本島南部で確認できました。与那国島まで行かなくても沖縄本島でこんなに見られるんですねー。
1羽はムナグロに混じって広い草地にいました。4羽はそこから数百メートル離れた住宅街ど真ん中の数百坪ほどの造成地にいました。1日で5羽もオオチドリを観察したのは初めてです。
ヤツガシラも探しに行こうと予定していたのですが、オオチドリで満足してしまったので帰宅しました。^^

The closest Greater Sand Plover to approach me. When I sat and waited, they would sometimes come near on their own while foraging.
