Caught a Migratory Locust!!

A beautiful male with little rufous coloring. ^^

It was deep in the undergrowth.

Up in a tree overlooking the paddies.

Looked healthy. It caught a small crab. ^^

A ring is visible on the right leg.

Got it!!

A Common Kestrel chasing a grasshopper as it flies and runs.

Its signature hovering. ^^

When it reaches the end of the pasture without finding prey, it circles back to its usual spot.

1200mm!! Practically a telescope. ^^;
