Launching an attack on a frog!!

Frog caught. If you're grabbed like that, it's hopeless… ^^;

Heading out again!!

Frog caught. It tore apart a toxic Cane Toad and ate every bit of it. Seems the toxin was no problem. ^^;

When it heard another Crested Serpent Eagle calling nearby it called back, but it was getting the worse of it and looked rattled. ^^;

It was a bit far… ^^;

Big feet for walking on aquatic plants.

There was also a Black-crowned Night Heron — not a penguin. ^^

It was looking down over the paddies from a windbreak grove, searching for prey. A bit out of focus… ^^;

An unexpected Crested Serpent Eagle on the way home. Quite close!!

Kan-chan the Crested Serpent Eagle. It was sheltering from the wind.

For a bird that had just arrived on migration, this Grey-faced Buzzard was not particularly nervous. ^^

While most Brown Shrikes are very wary, this male let me shoot up close. ^^
