リュウキュウアカショウビン(死骸)
今日は、朝から夏のような天気。^^;
アカショウビンも7個体確認できました。撮影できたのは2羽だけ。両方とも今季初撮影。^^
営巣の穴掘りをしていた所を確認しにいったら、営巣木の前でツミに襲われたと思われるアカショウビンの残骸が…。
I rushed the shot and ended up about 2 stops overexposed. Fixed it in post…. ^^;
Dark and backlit. A record shot at least. ^^;
Left one has the upper mandible, right one has the lower.
The feathers had been plucked too.
Too good to leave behind, so I took it home. ^^

「鳴く蝉よりも鳴かぬ蛍が身を焦がす」ヤエヤマボタル乱舞
星空も入れたかったのですが、あいにくの曇天でした。^^;
月のでも遅くなり、4月いっぱいはホタル撮影には最適ですよ。
The numbers were reasonable tonight, but the flight paths were good. ^^

今季16個体目のリュウキュウアカショウビン
新規確認個体が1羽増えました。撮影も1個体増えて11個体目。このアカショウビンは、数年間ペアで撮ってるオスの方です。メスは頭部に白い刺しが入っているのですが、まだ見つからず。無事に渡ってきてくれているといいのですが…。
他は、先日確認しているアカショウビンを3羽見ることができました。1羽は警戒心が強くて撮れない。ブラインドで待ち伏せかな。^^;
