越冬ハリオシギ!!(動画あり)
石垣島のハリオシギの最遅記録を1カ月更新しました!!
タシギ数羽の群れの中に発見。典型的なハリオシギの個体ではなく、最初はチュウジシギと迷いましたが、しばらく観察しているとハリオシギを確信。1時間程度ねばって、証拠となる尾羽の写真を撮ることができました。
非常にチュウジシギ寄りの個体で興味深いです。記憶に長く残ること間違いなしのハリオシギですね。^^
これまでの石垣島のハリオシギの遅い記録は、 10月18日の成鳥 でしたので、大幅な記録更新となりました。^^
ちなみに最も早い記録は 2月下旬の幼鳥 です。ただし、この個体は越冬していた可能性もありますね。

After nearly an hour of tracking, I finally got a clear view of the Pin-tailed Snipe's needle-like tail feathers. ^^
