セジロタヒバリ飛来!! クイナ、ハシビロガモ到着 ジャワアカガシラサギ長逗留
今季もセジロタヒバリが複数、飛来しました。 昨年はムネアカタヒバリの群れの中に2羽を確認 。今回は頭上を飛ぶ鳴き声でセジロタヒバリの存在に気づき、5羽の群れが田んぼに降りたところを探索したところ2羽の姿を確認することができました。^^
セジロタヒバリを探しているとクイナも登場。警戒心が強く短時間の邂逅でしたがうれしいですね。
カモは数、種類とも増えつつあり、この日はハシビロガモを今季初確認しました。カモたちがやって来るころになるとジシギはハリオシギ、チュウジシギとも渡去してしまい、タシギだけがたくさん残っています。
7月下旬に飛来したジャワアカガシラサギはまだ滞在していました。多いときは3羽いましたが、今は1羽だけのようです。越冬モードなので来年2月ごろまでは滞在すると思います。
このほか、アオジとヨシゴイを確認。ソリハシセイタカシギは、友人の勤める施設の敷地内に入ったそうです。
Paddyfield Pipit seen again this season.
The Paddyfield Pipit, the most beautiful of the Anthus pipits, stands out well even from a distance.
The temperature was not high, but it was panting — apparently having just arrived.
While searching for Paddyfield Pipit, a crake appeared. The encounter lasted only a moment. ^^;
A Javan Pond Heron that has been present for three months. It will likely stay on through the winter.

Common Teal are now being seen regularly in paddies and settling ponds.
A Common Snipe in the undergrowth. All the snipe I found that day were Common Snipe, but with the rice and grass growing tall they are hard to pick out.
