アカショウビン、アオバズク、ツバメチドリ、エリグロアジサシ
渡り鳥たちの姿がすっかり見えなくなってしまった石垣島ですが、リュウキュウアカショウビンやリュウキュウアオバズク、ツバメチドリなどの繁殖は順調に進んでいるようです。エリグロアジサシも到着し、岩礁でコロニーを形成し始めました。
毎年、台風の影響が気になりますが、繁殖が成功することを期待します。^^

A Brown Hawk-Owl that nests in this busy spot every year. It looks like the young will be fledging soon.
Oriental Pratincoles, presumably breeding somewhere on the island, came to a rice paddy.
The Black-naped Terns that had been offshore have arrived at the coastal rocks. Breeding is about to begin.
