Chinese Sparrowhawk Migration Begins; First Eurasian Teal
Chinese Sparrowhawk migration is under way. The weather has been unsettled but it should pick up in earnest from here. Two Eurasian Teal — my first of the season — had arrived.

Brown Shrikes are increasing. Adult male.
Swinhoe's Snipe, juvenile. First-winter plumage.
Large numbers of Long-toed Stints are staying on. Moulting into first-winter plumage.
Black-winged Stilt, first-winter.
Whiskered Tern, winter plumage.
Little Egret — juveniles are increasing.
