We'll drive you around Ishigaki Island to wherever the birds are showing best that day. Observation is mostly from inside the vehicle, and we keep it to a maximum of 3 guests so everyone can take their time.
カラスに襲われているところを保護されたヨナグニカラスバトが約70日ぶりに自然に返されました。尾羽はかなり傷んでいますが、なんとか飛んで森に帰りました。
This individual appears to have hatched this year. A Ministry of the Environment general-use ring is also fitted on the right leg.

It perched in a tree about four metres up. After around thirty minutes it disappeared into the forest.
少しずつハリオシギが増えてきました。今季初のエリマキシギも到着。ツバメチドリは巣立ったヒナたちも含めて移動が始まっているようです。今季初のヒバリシギ幼鳥も確認しました。

First Long-toed Stint juvenile of the season. Numbers will shoot up from here.

Oriental Pratincole, adult. The moult into winter plumage is well under way.
Common Greenshank numbers are steadily increasing, but juveniles have yet to arrive.
