オウチュウ、ツバメチドリ、クロツラヘラサギ、ヘラサギ、アカガシラサギほか
自宅近くに現れたオウチュウは、少しずつ東に移動しながら滞在4日目となりました。警戒心のない個体で、いつも道路脇の電線に止まっています。石垣島の今季はオウチュウの当たり年で、多い日は一日で20羽近い個体が観察されていました。
ツバメチドリの小さな群れは田んぼに入っていました。クロハラアジサシと同じエリアで虫をとりますが、クロハラアジサシはふわふわと飛んで稲に付いている虫を捕食。ツバメチドリは高いところで飛んでくる虫を襲っていました。
田んぼには、クロツラヘラサギ、ヘラサギ、アカガシラサギなども次々と飛来しています。
