リュウキュウキビタキ、アカショウビン、ベニバトなど(動画あり)
田んぼを回っていると林縁部からリュウキュウキビタキの鳴き声。探してみるとオス個体がさえずっていました。なぜか田んぼの灌木にも移動していました。
久しぶりにバンナ公園を訪れるとリュウキュウアカショウビンに複数個体出会えました。オスが目立つので、すでに抱卵に入っているペアが多いのかもしれません。
ベニバトも1羽確認。渡ってきたばかりで疲れているのか、電線に止まったまま時折、目をつぶっていました。
夕方の田んぼではリュウキュウツミが農道におりてきょろきょろしています。観察していると茂みに逃げ込んだスズメを狙っているようでした。

A male Ryukyu Sparrowhawk targeting a Eurasian Tree Sparrow that had fled into the bushes.
A young individual that turns up regularly in this rice paddy, completely unafraid of people. It appears often in the mornings and evenings.
The hybrid duck that has been here since February last year. The moult seems to have progressed and there is some change in appearance. Could this be its breeding plumage?
