今季3羽目のレンカク(動画あり)
今季3羽目のレンカクが飛来しました。沖縄本島でも複数羽が確認されています。今回の個体は、これまでで一番夏羽への移行が進んでいました。警戒心もなく、観察しやすい個体です。
同じ田んぼにツバメチドリやタマシギも現れます。リュウキュウヨシゴイは鳴き声のみ確認。
A Pheasant-tailed Jacana flapping its wings after bathing. It appears to be moulting into adult summer plumage.
It was scratching away deftly with those big feet.
It was wandering around a harvested paddy field, picking at small snails and the like.
An Oriental Pratincole, presumably breeding somewhere nearby.
The female Greater Painted-snipe was calling frequently.
Two or so Common Greenshanks as well.
