アオバズク巣立ち、アカショウビン巣穴掘り、希少なソリハシシギ(動画あり)
今季の巣立ち第1号はリュウキュウアオバズクでした。昨年と同じ場所で2羽が無事に巣立ちました。アオバズクの巣立ちといては、かなり早いタイミングでした。
アカショウビンの巣穴掘りを確認。今季はアカショウビンの個体数が多く、見つけた巣の数も多すぎていくつだか忘れました…。どこも無事に推移していくことを願うばかりです。
今年は全国的に数が少ないように感じるソリハシシギを石垣島でも確認。遅いのは例年のことですが、数が少ないのが気になります。近くにはアカアシシギが1羽寂しくいました。キアシシギは複数が滞在。沖縄本島ではメリケンキアシシギも出ているので、石垣島でも期待しています。
