第2回石垣島ジシギ合宿開催!!
お待ちかねの石垣島ジシギ合宿を開催しました。 秋の第1回 に続く第2回には、島外と島内から2人の好き者にご参加いただきました。^^
番外編 ではキガシラセキレイの夏羽になった美しいオスも現れるなど、楽しい合宿となりました。
春の合宿は、ハリオシギもチュウジシギも個体数は少ないですが、アカショウビンやヤツガシラ、クロウタドリなど定番の渡り鳥に会うチャンスがあるとともに、夏羽に変わったシギやチドリ、思わぬ珍鳥が出る可能性もあります。今後も、春と秋の年2回の開催を目指しますので、ふるってご参加ください。

It was probing the ground repeatedly in search of food. After a stay of a few days, it will move on toward its breeding grounds.
In the morning it was actively foraging and preening — a pleasure to watch.
