春の使者シマアジ、単独のヒシクイ
石垣島の春のカモと言えば、シマアジ。オス2羽が小さな沈砂池で休憩していました。ヒシクイは北上組とみられる個体が単独で飛来。100羽近いガン類が島の上空を渡っていった目撃情報がありましたが、そのうちの脱落組なのでしょうか。
キンクロハジロは越冬組で生殖羽に変わってきています。オナガガモのメスはなぜか1羽だけカルガモの群れとともに行動。わたるタイミングを逸しているように感じます。
