アメリカムナグロか!!
ムナグロの群れの中にアメリカムナグロ的なあやしい個体を1羽発見しました。初列の突出量と羽色に違和感を覚え、PPは4枚に見えます。
写真をもっと撮りたかったのですが、カメラの画面で拡大して確認しているうちに、黒い大きな犬が海岸を走って飛んでいってしまいました…。^^;
海外サイトで本場のアメリカムナグロと比べてみますが、なかなか難しい…。
There is no brownish tinge, and it looks quite different from the Pacific Golden Plovers I usually see. It has a definite American Golden Plover feel to it.
The PP appeared to be showing four feathers at all times.
Compared to the other Pacific Golden Plovers, this is how it looks. The primary projection stands out next to the surrounding birds. Very American Golden Plover-like.
