レンカク夏羽が飛来(動画あり)
「そろそろですねぇ」などと友人と話していた翌日にレンカクが出ました。石垣島はこの時季がレンカクの季節。沖縄本島でも確認されているようです。
レンカクは休耕田を歩き回りながら小さな巻貝やヤゴなどを捕食しているようでした。

When a crow flew over, it kept looking up at the sky.
This individual didn't seem to fear humans and preened right nearby. Pheasant-tailed Jacanas often have weak wariness.
It was foraging even in areas without water.
Based on size and plumage, this individual is likely male.
