We'll drive you around Ishigaki Island to wherever the birds are showing best that day. Observation is mostly from inside the vehicle, and we keep it to a maximum of 3 guests so everyone can take their time.
10月8日に飛来したカリガネ2羽とヒシクイ1羽の群れ にマガン12羽が合流して一気ににぎやかになりました。撮影を忘れましたが、ハシビロガモも数羽飛来していました。

レンカクの幼鳥が田んぼに飛来しました。小さな巻貝などを食っている様子でした。例年なら10月下旬から11月上旬にかけてやってくるので今年は少し早いようです。

It was walking around the paddies foraging.
After a while it disappeared into the grass. With bad weather likely to persist, it should stay around for some time.

Almost all the snipe are Common Snipe. A few Swinhoe's Snipe remain but will depart before long.
