長期逗留中のイワミセキレイ(動画あり)

いつも1日か2日で抜けるイワミセキレイですが、この個体は 9月30日 に見つかり、この日で7日目の滞在となりました。

今季はイワミセキレイの飛来が多く、翌日には7羽目となる個体が確認されました。この個体以外はすべて1日でいなくなりました。

Perhaps because the Forest Wagtail is adapted to dark environments, its eyes seem larger than those of other wagtails. That's another reason it looks so endearing.
