3年ぶりの皆既月蝕。スーパームーンと重なったのは24年ぶり。次回、スーパームーンと重なるのは12年後の2033年だそうです。

今季初となるクロハラアジサシと子育て中のカタグロトビ
今季初となるクロハラアジサシが石垣島にも到着しました。3羽の群れでした。河川の上を飛びながら獲物を捕まえていました。
カタグロトビは自宅近くで繁殖中の個体。リュウキュウマツからカラスなどを警戒していました。

It was dashing back and forth along the riverbank.
There is something long and white visible behind the tail feathers — fishing line, perhaps?
A Whiskered Tern almost fully in breeding plumage. Besides Whiskered Terns, small numbers of White-winged Terns also visit Ishigaki Island. None yet this year.
