微妙なツメナガセキレイとシギ

今季も微妙なツメナガセキレイがやってきました。双眼鏡で見つけた時はシベリアツメナガセキレイと疑わなかったのですが、写真に撮ってモニタで拡大してみると、目の前方まで白い眉斑がつながっています。しかし、マミジロツメナガセキレイにしては細いという個体でした。両者は繁殖ちが隣り合っていてハイブリッドがあるようで、右の顔はシベリアツメナガセキレイで左の顔はマミジロツメナガセキレイみたいな個体もいます。面白いですねー。^^

田植えが終わった田んぼにはトウネン、ヒバリシギ、ウズラシギ、タカブシギ、イソシギ、アオアシシギ、コアオアシシギ、セイタカシギ、チュウシャクシギ、ジシギなどが元気に過ごしています。

カラアカモズとシマアカモズ

昨日まで全く見つからなかったアカモズ亜種は今日になって11個体を観察しました。ほとんどが石垣島で越冬するシマアカモズだったのですが、その中で4羽ほど気になる個体がいたので、写真で検討したいと思います。

Same individual as above. It caught a pair of mating Pyrgomorpha conica grasshoppers in copula. I wonder what the male thinks about that….
