リュウキュウアカショウビンたくさん(動画あり)
きょうは子どもと二人で沢遊び。リュウキュウアカショウビンの鳴き声があちこちから聞こえてきました。
沢へ行く未舗装路や県道、帰りに寄ったバンナ公園内にも本当にたくさんのアカショウビンがいます。巣作りが終わって、抱卵に入ってしまうと出会いが減るので、今が見やすさではピークですね。
公園のアカショウビンは、ほんの数メートル先の個体に息子が大騒ぎしても動じない個体です。
Sunlight was hitting the green behind the bird, giving it a colour typical of early Okinawan summer. This is already processed with the most subdued settings. ^^;
A very obliging Ruddy Kingfisher. My son got a great close-up view as well.
The Ruddy Kingfisher spun around and showed off its blue rump too.
