ニシオジロビタキとジョウビタキ、シロハラ、部分白化のスズメ
仕事の移動中に小さな公園でコーヒーを飲んで休憩していると何やら見慣れないヒタキ。
コサメビタキやエゾビタキの季節はとっくに終わっているし、飛び方も違う。常に持参している双眼鏡でのぞいてみるとオジロビタキかニシオジロビタキ? しかし、しっかり見たことは今までなく自信がない。コサメビタキの渡りが遅い個体か?
こんな時はツイッターです。カメラの画面を撮影し、投稿してみると詳しい4人の方から「ニシオジロビタキっぽい」との反応がありました。しかし、しっかりした写真を撮ろうにもシロハラがそのニシオジロビタキらしき小鳥を追い回してどんどん逃げる。しまいには藪に逃げ込んでしまいそれ以降、現れることはありませんでした…。^^;
しかし、気になりますので近いうちに探しに行って証拠を撮ってきたいと思います。
Provisionally Taiga Flycatcher.
Judging by the uppertail coverts and tail feathers, it does look like a Taiga Flycatcher.
The Pale Thrush seemed to take a dislike to the Taiga Flycatcher and kept chasing it off. It doesn't bother the Daurian Redstart or the Japanese Bush Warbler, yet for some reason it only attacks the Taiga Flycatcher. As a result I couldn't get a decent shot of the Taiga Flycatcher… ^^;
There was also a female Daurian Redstart. The third individual this season.
A partially leucistic Eurasian Tree Sparrow.
Sand-bathing after a water bath. Doesn't it get covered in sand?
It was eating Eulalia grass seeds.
