南城市でサシバの渡り
先日、わが息子の通う南城市の保育園に運動会の観戦に行ったら、午前中、サシバが結構飛びました。久々の休みだったので午前8時すぎぐらいから保育園の近くでサシバを観察してみました。
到着するとすでに数羽のサシバが舞っていました。曇天から雲が晴れるにつれ、サシバがみやすくなりましたが数が伸びず、約50羽を数えるに終わりました。先日は100羽のタカ柱ができてたんだけどなー。^^;
他には、ハヤブサやチゴハヤブサ、チョウゲンボウ、ミサゴ、ツミなどが現れ久しぶりのタカの渡りを楽しめました。
帰り道、近くの公園に寄ってみるとミゾゴイがいました。気付いた時はかなり近くになってしまいお互いにフリーズ。カメラを向けようと動いたら飛び立って森の中へ消えてしまいました。いかにもミゾゴイが好きそうな環境なので戻ってきてくれるといいのですが…。

Plenty of Grey-faced Buzzards were diving down steeply rather than moving on. Will they migrate tomorrow?
