オグロシギ、ツメナガセキレイ飛来
今季初のオグロシギが1羽、金武の田んぼにいました。ツメナガセキレイも初確認。こちらは、数羽が田植えが終わったばかりの田んぼの中や畦にいました。
カルガモは3羽、ツバメチドリやムナグロ、アオアシシギ、アカアシシギなど少しずつ秋の渡りの鳥たちが増えていました。処暑を過ぎても暑い沖縄ですが、秋の渡りは少しずつ進んでいるようです。
最近、金武で数を減らしているバンは、きょうは幼鳥、成鳥含めて10羽ほどがいました。渡ってきたのでしょうか?

The Eastern Yellow Wagtails were foraging among the rice seedlings. I could hear their calls, but they kept hiding in the shadow of the rice, making photography quite a challenge.

A Common Moorhen hatched this year.
A group of three Eastern Spot-billed Ducks had come into the paddies.
