タイワンツチイナゴを食うチョウゲンボウ
明日は、二十四節気のひとつ雨水です。きょうは、車内はクーラーが必要な沖縄でした。明日も暖かくなりそうです。^^
昨日は、チョウセンチョウゲンボウ で喜んでいましたが、きょうはふつーのチョウゲンボウでした。
なにやら地面に押さえつけて食ってるからシロチドリでも襲ったのかと思い双眼鏡を覗いてみたら大きなタイワンツチイナゴを解体中でした。サシバなら、足を捥いでひと呑みですがチョウゲンボウは体が小さいので小さく解体してから食っていた。

The grasshopper, pinned down, was still alive and struggling.
I wanted to get a shot of it taking off too, but I was shooting handheld without a tripod, and a strong southerly wind was blowing so it flew away at incredible speed — I couldn't keep up… ^^;
