田んぼ、池、海岸でバードウオッチング
今年の年末年始は異常に暖かかったですが、やっと気温が下がりました。高速道路では、財布を忘れてしまい料金所の事務所で手続きして後日支払うことに…。^^; おかげでコンビニにも寄れず喉の乾く1日だった。^^;
オジロトウネンは5羽いました。ヒシクイ4羽とマガン5羽はまだ滞在。このまま越冬するのか?
水路には、ヒバリシギが20羽ほどとタシギ。沖縄本島では少ないシロハラクイナも出てきましたが、警戒心が強い。^^; 水の張られた田んぼにはコサギとアマサギ合わせて50羽ほどの混群。
海岸では、チュウシャクシギやキアシシギなど。カワセミもいたけど遠い。
田んぼ沿いの防風林には、獲物を探すチョウゲンボウ。
A Temminck's Stint. So close!
It didn't all fit in the frame, but the Temminck's Stints were a flock of 5.
The majority were Long-toed Stints. The 3 snipe in the frame are all Common Snipe.
A White-breasted Waterhen also appeared.
