ツバメチドリ飛来
先日まで大量のムナグロと数羽のオオチドリが入っていた草地にツバメチドリが20羽ほど飛来していました。ムナグロとオオチドリは全て抜けていました。シロチドリは少し残っていました。
ツバメチドリは美しい夏羽に変わっていて、草地で休憩していました。近くをバッタなどが飛ぶとさっと飛び出し見事に捕まえているようでした。
石垣島や波照間島では繁殖する個体もいるツバメチドリですが、沖縄本島ではどうなんでしょうか。
The Oriental Pratincoles were resting in a grassy area with clover here and there.

Most of the area is grassland like this. It's grassland in the middle of town, but it seems to be a good resting spot for Oriental Pratincoles and others.
