今季、四つ目のアオバズクの営巣
今日6月5日は、芒種ですね。芒種が終わり夏至になる6月20日ごろには沖縄は梅雨明けします。きのうきょうで梅雨入りした本土では、そのころが梅雨真っ盛りですね。
以前からアオバズクの声が聞こえたり、求愛給餌していたポイントの営巣をやっと見つけました。近くにもうひとペアのアオバズクがいるのですがそちらは見つからず。沖縄本島南部はアオバズクばかりでコノハズクがいません。オオコノハズクはたまに営巣します。
大きなモクマオウで子育てしているようです。自宅からも近いので巣立ちはぜひ観察したいですね。
探す道中、アカショウビンの鳴き声も聞こえてきたのでそちらも探したいですね。

It seems to react when it hears the calls of crows.
The combination of the 600mm f/4 and the 1D X Mark II with a handheld standing shot — no blur. Shutter speed was 1/200.
The image stabilizer on the 600mm is doing its job, but at the same time the new 1D X Mark II clearly has less mirror shock than the 1D X, and I think that's also contributing.
