リュウキュウアオバズク営巣中
今日は二十四節気の一つ「小満」です。沖縄では梅雨のこの時期、小満から芒種までの期間を小満芒種(スーマンボースー)といい梅雨を表します。
良さげなキャンプ場があったので、車を降りて探索してみるとアオバズクがいました。
もう1羽を探したのですが、いないようなのでメスのアオバズクが抱卵中のようです。6月半ばには巣立ちして親子で並んだ姿が見られるのでしょうか。
I had been searching through the woodland, and when I happened to glance the other way, a Brown Hawk-Owl was watching me from a conspicuous branch. ^^;
