オグロシギ、サルハマシギほか
きょうは、与那国島に行く予定でしたが、天気が悪そうだったので石垣島を回りました。水田にはセイタカシギ、タカブシギ、ヒバリシギ、アオアシシギ、コチドリなど多くのシギチが渡ってきていましたが、そのなかで4羽の見慣れないシギが。双眼鏡で覗いてみるとオグロシギの幼鳥でした。かなり忙しく田んぼをつついて餌探ししていました。
山間の田んぼにはカワセミがいました。 先日のカワセミ は台風の影響なのか換羽なのかぼろぼろでしたが、この個体は比較的きれいでした。

The four birds were always moving together.
Still in the middle of their journey — they'll be heading on to Africa or Australia.
A Curlew Sandpiper had also come down to the same paddy field.
The Common Kingfisher here is very wary too — heavy crop required… ^^;
