Even getting it in the finder is tough. ^^;

Can't get the shot unless a fairly strong wind is blowing.

It's so hot the air is shimmering. ^^;

Close range, but it hasn't noticed me, so it's relaxed.

It noticed the shutter sound and tensed up a little.

Even smaller than a sparrow.

That soft morning light is great.

When I first spotted it, it was on a utility pole, but maybe it got too hot — it moved to a pine tree.

Went looking for juveniles, but only adults around….
