アオアシシギ、コアオアシシギ、イソシギ幼鳥登場 今季初ハマシギなど
アオアシシギ、コアオアシシギ、イソシギの幼鳥をそれぞれ今季初確認しました。また、ハマシギも今季初確認です。
先日のサルハマシギ2羽 も滞在中でヒバリシギは成鳥、幼鳥の混群。田んぼではほかにセイタカシギやウズラシギ、クサシギ、タカブシギなどいつものメンバーです。

The first Dunlin of the season was a juvenile, moulting into first-winter plumage.

Curlew Sandpiper, summer to winter plumage. Presumed male.
Also molting from summer to winter plumage. Compared to the individual above, the reddish tones are weaker — perhaps a female.
Swinhoe's Snipe, juvenile.
The body looks compact, but this is a Swinhoe's Snipe. Also a juvenile.
Little Ringed Plover, male. Late summer plumage.
A few winter feathers are showing, but this Marsh Sandpiper is still mostly in juvenile plumage.
