越冬中のオオハシシギにチドリやカモも
南風が吹き最高気温が25度まで上がる暖かい一日でした。南風に乗って何か来ていないかと海岸を回ってみましたが、レギュラーメンバーばかりでした。
いつも遠いオオハシシギは、珍しく岸から10メートルほどのところでコガモに混じり採餌していました。相変わらず冬場は逆光の海岸なのでオオハシシギから距離を取りつつ順光側に回り込み座って観察していると20メートルほどのところまで近ずいてきてくれました。^^ 前回 より距離も近く太陽も出ていい条件で撮れました。
コチドリやムナグロ、ハマシギなどもすぐ近くへやってきます。
先日見つけたヨシガモのメス を探したのですが、暖かい日差しにカモたちはお休み中で再会することはできませんでした…。
A beautiful Long-billed Dowitcher. Depending on the species, spring migration has already begun. I wonder if the Long-billed Dowitchers will stay long enough to come into summer plumage.

A few Dunlins were bathing.

A Little Ringed Plover came right up in front of me.
Pacific Golden Plovers were spread across a wide area of the shore.
A male Gadwall. Fully in breeding plumage now.
A female Gadwall. She was moving together with the male above, but still in non-breeding plumage.
