シロハラ、セアカモズ(雑種?)、シロガシラ、キンパラ
工場地帯の公園に愛想のいいシロハラがいました。落ち葉をひっくり返しては、虫を捕まえていたのですが、セミの幼虫も見つけ出していました。残念ながら大物を捕まえると植え込みの中に入ってから解体しながら食うようで写真には収められなかった…。
海岸沿いの公園では、アカモズを発見。亜種シマアカモズのように見えるがどうか。芝生に現れる小さなバッタなどを捕まえていた。 (2月18日追記：シマアカモズでなくてセアカモズかセアカモズの血の入った雑種との指摘を頂きました。何れにせよ、大変に珍しいようですので 写真を追加掲載 した)
トウモロコシ畑では、20羽ほどのシロガシラがトウモロコシを食害していた。近くのカリフラワー畑でもシロガシラが葉を食害。
キンパラの30羽ほどの群れは、雑草の種を食っていました。図鑑によると体長10〜12センチとスズメより小さいはずなのですが、スズメと並ぶとキンパラの方が大きく見えた。

Female Brown Shrike in first-winter plumage, perhaps? (I've received information that this may not be a Brown Shrike but rather a Red-backed Shrike or a hybrid with Red-backed Shrike blood. Either way, it appears to be a very rare find.)

Light-vented Bulbuls damaging corn. I hear their numbers have declined compared to before, but they remain a persistent headache for farmers.

A Scaly-breasted Munia eating weed seeds. Javan Munias live in the Yaeyamas, but I've never seen a Tricolored Munia here.
