田んぼでサカツラガン、レンカク、タゲリ

2日前に入ったサカツラガン10月末に入ったレンカク は順調に滞在中です。

今季初のタゲリは早朝に20羽ほど入ったそうですが、私が訪れた昼ごろには4羽だけになっていました。全て幼鳥。

All three Swan Geese are still doing well. I doubt overwintering will be easy for them — I wonder how long they'll stay.

The Swan Geese, apparently startled by a feral cat or something, took flight. They circled above the rice paddies and then came back down.

A Pheasant-tailed Jacana that has been here for about three weeks now. There were two initially, but at some point it became just one.
