暗色型サシバ滞在1カ月
10月10日に現れた暗色型のサシバ は滞在1カ月をすぎました。これは越冬するとみていいでしょう。
電柱のてっぺんから畑を見下ろし、バッタを捕まえていた。以前のように他のサシバに邪魔されたり、カラスに絡まれたりすることもなく、落ち着いた表情で過ごしていました。
奄美大島の暗色型サシバのように毎年、沖縄にきてくれることを期待!!

It launched out toward the field after prey.
It caught a large Slender-winged Grasshopper.
Dark-morph Grey-faced Buzzards are stunning. ^^
It came straight toward me!!
After that it passed behind me and on to the woodland on the other side. Once it perches in a tree, this dark morph is hard to spot.
