まだいたオニアジサシ5羽
例年通り、10月下旬から入りだした具志干潟のオニアジサシは、 11月1日には6羽 にまで増えましたが1羽減って5羽が滞在中でした。漫湖のオニアジサシも増えたり減ったりしているのでここと行き来しているのかもしれません。
南風が吹いたので、狩りのシーンでも撮影してみようと出向いたのですが、 ミサゴの急降下 に驚いて飛ばされどこかへ消えてしまいました。^^; 再び姿を見ることはありませんでしたが、明日には戻ってくるでしょう。
ダイシャクシギも長いこと滞在中ですが、越冬はしないのでいずれ、南下していくと思われます。
チュウシャクシギやイソシギ、キアシシギは干潟のカニを捕まえていました。

The Caspian Tern is nearly a match for the Osprey in size, but it was startled by the Osprey's dive and flew away.
Sitting still, a Common Sandpiper came right up in front of me. Top left: a crab flying through the air. ^^;
A Whimbrel caught a crab too.
Swallowed whole — claws, legs and all.
A Far Eastern Curlew, usually quite wary, came close as well.
